The Tinderbox Story

I still remember sitting at my desk at 500px in February, when an email popped up from a girl desperately looking for a photographer who could shoot and edit her crochet product photos almost overnight.

To be honest, I had no idea what an Etsy store was but...

a) she was from The Beaches, Toronto, (I'm all about supporting local artists)

b) her products were all handmade and amazing quality

c) she just started her little business and loved it with all her heart.

How could I say no. We shoot 8-10 different looks on what felt like the coldest winter day ever. When you see people with a talent like this, you just have to do your best to help them on their way to success.

So here we are, after two successful photoshoots and dozens of approved show applications.

Meet Courtney, the owner of Tinderbox Crochet.

Tinderbox became so popular in less than 6 months that Courtney quit her full time job to focus entirely on her crochet business. Crochet for her show, crochet for her custom orders and crochet for her customers at her Etsy shop.

Trust me, they are the coziest and most beautiful handcrafted products you'll ever ware.
